Such is the case with every MMO that has ever been, or ever will be made. You group a bunch of people from around the world together on a server and things get dumb. I agree with you completely on this point and that's why I stick to my FPS games. In the end MMO's are all politics, and in the end you get beat out by the people who either have no life or are willing to pay real cash for pixelated gear.As for taking things too seriously? The market for gaming laptops has actually increased, I know it is a foolish notion but some people want that level of prtability.
The break down IS in the upgrade path.
I have a Dell Inspiron 9700 (just before the XPS series) it was labled as being upgradable but when it came down to swapping out the GPU(it had a descrete 6800Go in it) it did not support the newer ones like the 6800go ultra. So even though Dell claimed upgradability there was none.
The next problem with laptops has always been memory speed and HDD speed
you are usually a couple of generations behind on your max mem speeds with the mobile products and HDDs that are close to desktop speed are very expensive.
You will still find people looking into this market and will to buy, if for nothing else then the chance to say they have one.

This will sell because many of these people that play this game are so wrapped up in this game and will buy anything related...it will not sell as a mainstream laptop but will still sell decently
and Sumgai, I have heard that before and that is disturbing but true for some kids nowadays. Work for weeks to get some special something in a game only to have it stolen by someone else... most of us understand it is only a game but that is still funny in context lol
