Ok the reason i went AMD is this computer is my work computer the most it'll see is maybe rollercoaster tycoon 3. Plus AMD is more my budget right now with the real estate slump we're in here where I live. Maybe if I sell a few more houses or find another career I'll bebale to build another with an intel but until then AMD works fine for me and with the way it looks will work fine for me for awhile.

First Build

Case: Apevia X-Dreamer II
Power Supply: 420W PSU
Cooling: 4 80mm case fans 1 120mm case fan Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition

I'd honestly love to put together an amd system right now, probably something with a 5000+ black edition.... no budget or need for it now. And I have a friend with a 6400+ based setup, and it flies.

e6300@3.33ghz|Asus P5k-e WiFi| 4gb OCZ ReaperX|2x 3870's|1.3tb storage space|MSI tv tuner.

Gizmo,
With that build you have nothing to be ashamed about. Thats a good build. I bet money that most people here wouldnt realize the full potential of that computer as it is now. The exception being the Video card, with some of the games I play it would be a slide show. But as you said the most you will be doing is RC tycoon so that is not a problem for you.
Good luck selling houses!

I would rather read a NewEgg review than a [H] review

I'm not one bit ashamed of it as a matter of fact with the way it stands to me I have built one darn good machine here it's good enough for what i do and for what little bit of money I put into it I wouldn't trade it for the world. I may not have the best knowledge about computers but I have enough to get by on.
