True, but how much a difference does it make?
Just curious.

I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal.

It can make quite a bit - Crysis is particularly brutal on CPU horsepower, and the trend towards multi-threaded coding is just getting underway. For new builds, a Q6600 comes highly recommended.

The G0 Quads Overclock nicely ... [3.2GHZ-3.4GHZ is pretty easy on Air and remains cool]

For the Money however I think the E8400 is the better Chip and it will clock pretty easily to 3.8GHZ-4GHZ.

If 4 cores is critical ... I would do the XEON Kentsfield core X3210 for the $20 more money and get those extra two cores for $10 each and try and push it to 3.6GHZ stable on Air.
