| T-Rex | Still doubting the use of 8GB, but who am I to judge? It's your money in the end. :P Suggestion; Grab a smaller HD (~250GB) for your OS and a bigger for your data (either the 750GB or 500GB, it's always up to you) It's always MUCH less problems when re-installing, I've heard and saw horror stories about having to delete every partitions on the hard drive because else Windows setup would fail to create a partition, go figure. That or Windows assigning the C: letter to another partition, not your OS partition. Quite problematic because every installer will point to C:\Program Files\, everything will expect to find something in C:\Windows\ etc etc. That's also why I unplug everything but 1 drive when I install Windows. USB card readers temp to mess with the letters thing often enough when they're plugged in at OS install. |
