| I'll see how it goes. If it's overheating they'll just have to deal with that. I've got 3 years that says they're responsible for it. ![]() It doesn't seem like they'd offer that setup though if they'd have to keep replacing them for overheating. Sometimes they switch things around based on the system. |

| lol i was under normal extended warranty when my 7k failed for the 7th time in 18 months...and they ran out of MBs. My laptop was in the "shop" for over a month and a half b4 they decided to give me the 8k as a replacement. Owned the 8k for about a 15 months, sent it in for repair 5 times, the 5th time was 2 days after the 4th time when they "Fixed" it, was under HP's ADP warranty which basically covers EVERYTHING and since it was the 5th time and 2 days after i sent it in which it was sitting there for 3 weeks waiting for a new Battery and sink, i pressed again for the case manager and he upgraded me to a dv9500t =) so by just processors i went from P4 Northwood to a P4 Prescott to a Core2Duo Centrino Saint Rose |

| HL's Technomancer | First computer I bought for myself was a craptastic Dimension 2400, what a piece of junk that was back in 2002ish. First time it took a dump due a spyware infection caused by my father's "browsing habits", called up Dell. Got a US rep when I asked for one, guy was on the phone with me for over an hour. Taught me how to run HijackThis and look for malware and such, and use tinyurl. It was pretty awesome, after that I got up enough courage to tinker around with that computer and went from there. |

| Dell just added a quad core deal Hey now I'm posting before the deal closed! http://www.gotapex.com/deals/redirect/51296/LPWYSM4O Edits :) I miscalculated, its actually closer to 210 more so I'm not going to do that. Its still a good deal though. Last edited by SirHardwareHawk; February 22nd, 2008 at 03:51. |
