| Personally I like HD DVD alot better. I have a Toshiba A2 and it looks amazing on my Sony 60' SXRD. If there ever will be a winner, it won't be for a very long time because both camps have very large installation bases and it would be pretty tough to knock one or the other out. I feel that neither will win becasue discs are a thing of the past... the new age is Digital Distribution. With the constant rise of hard drive space the possiblitys are endless to what you could put on them. You could have your entire movie database on one RAID array. A really good example of this is the Xbox 360 and the Video Marketplace. I don't currently have it here in Canada yet but it allows you to download thousands of hours of video content straight to your Hard Drive, whether that be Movies, TV Shows, Music Videos etc... For now i am going to stick it out on the HD DVD camp until Digital Distribution become more widely known. Tommorrow I'm going to buy 300 which ive been excited to get in HD since i saw it in theatres. | HL's Technomancer | Used DVDs at 5 bucks a pop played over my 27" monster CRT are just fine for me, I'm still elated over the fact I don't have to rewind my VHS cassette to the point the tape spews out. Same with CDs. When it comes to backing up storage, I'd much rather have a 16gig USB Drive and a External Hard drive. More reliable, and costs the same if not less then a player right now. |

| BAM-BAM | I would like to add that Walmart is going hddvd format only. They will not carry bluray discs. This is a bigger announcement than the target thing. I really dont care who wins. I would just like them to get this over with so we can get the bluray/hddvd penis measuring debates over with.
