Black Edition CPU?

ROFLMAO!

What a waste of time and effort. About the only people that CPU will appeal to are AMD die-hard fan boi enthusiast and even then, it's such a small market for any component manufacturer, I bet they've spent more on marketing it than the revenues they'll see from the sales of the CPU itself. They will probably make more money off of their other processors just from having the marketing hype surrounding this "Black Edition" crap.

IMHO, this just goes to show how desperate AMD is.

if AM2+ boards were out already, it might be a nice chip to tide you over till phenom, but then again AM2+ motherboards aren't out

still waiting on K10 AMD......
