One that comes to mind is Ultramon, although I'm not too sure it is Vista compatible if that's what you are using. It greatly simplifies moving windows between monitors. | |

| T-Rex | 32bit or 64bit? Check Ultramon. There's a clone called Multimon (freeware & paid "pro" version available) Basically they span your taskbar to every monitor and add better multi monitor support to Windows. I'm not sure though how Vista handles multiple monitor, so that might not be as needed as in XP. Edit: Interesting piece of freeware DisplayFusion. Never tested but looks mighty nice. DisplayFusion : Binary Fortress Software Edit 2: Apparently not freeware. Jeez. -_- Last edited by polobunny; June 22nd, 2008 at 16:51. |

| Functional Alcoholic | I use the nVidia control panel, multiple display wizard, but you have to have nVidia cards, obviously. ATI has similar software. Picks up all your cards and monitors. If you run them in dualview you can set all your resolutions separately. Last edited by Hitman; June 22nd, 2008 at 19:46. |

| F Ucn rd dis U mst uzUNIX | Exactly. The drivers are great and do anything you really want to do. You click the monitor in the picture and can set it up separately from the rest. IF you want them to be one big monitor, span. Duplicates where they all show the same thing, clone. I really preferred the nVidia multimonitor set up over what you can do with ATI's set. We use it here at work with 6 displays that act as one very wide screen, but can flip on the fly to roll through available screens on one. Couldn't do that with ATI that I can see. And you can run as many cards as you want and still stay away from actual SLI. One card, two monitors. Next card, two more monitors. If you want to game, that little FX card isn't going to cut it. That's unless it's just to power the third screen that mostly idles and does side jobs. You could get an 8600GT for $60. Last edited by Boy'nBlack; June 25th, 2008 at 17:12. |
