| Looks great, Hitman! I would really like to have something like that, but alas, we are renting and the landlord isn't too keen in rewiring (my Dad already asked). They wouldn't even get the house grounded for God's sake (I've been shocked by the computer about 10 times already). Anyhow, really nice job! | Colonel Calamity | phone lines are easy. If you only have 1 line in the house then pick 2 color wires at the main box and use the same 2 throughout the system and jacks. With 2 lines, just match up the colors, keep the 2 wires for line 1 and 2 other wires for line 2. If you need any help just let me know.. phone lines are as easy as hooking up speakers, pick 2 wires and use them ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! If you look real close you can see the 6 lines (one for the main line 5 outgoing lines) going into the M Block, and one going to the Jack for the DSL Modem. So in total I ran 7 phone lines. It's kinda hard to see from that angle. | |

| Functional Alcoholic | I've got Dial Tone! Turns out the POTS network box on the side of the house was bad. AT&T replaced it today and now all my phone lines work. I am officially done with the network project. Thanks WhiteEagle, it's turned out to be quite the project. It's very convenient to have jacks in every room. I think it was worth all the work and money I put into it. |
