When you get it from the frontpage you get redirected to a mirror by a script. The script probably counts how much hits it gets.

downloaded at only about 50kb/s for me. its wierd compared to FF2, but hopefully it fixes the issues i have been having with it

It's got a lot of kickass feature, including the awesome bar, dynamic bookmarks, drag and drop saving of pictures, full page zooming (ctrl+scroll-wheel), and a bunch of other neat stuff. Plus it really seems to perform a lot faster than FF2 (especially noticeable on Asus's support site).

Yup, it's great. Full page zooming is well done, not so broken like in IE7. Only problem is on the developer side of things. Mozilla sucks at updating Firefox extensions in their database. It's slow and painful for many developers to notify mozilladev, hence why quite a good bunch don't get updated for newer versions. And when they get updated, it's a week after an FF update.

if someone links photobucket, i cant get the picture to load. its constantly reloading. i can get it to open if i open a new tab and go there while the pic loads on the other tab, but then i cant zoom in if its a higher resolution pic. also cant copy the link to send it on to other people.

Sounds like a configuration issue. Have you tried deleting your config before?

ok they updated their pages now and it is the final version... when I originally posted this it was still only allowing the beta RC to be downloaded.
