could just d/l tor and it'll mask your IP. My buddy gets a kick out of loading google/yahoo in german, russian, and greek. Something new every day lol

Some time back I was messing with the IP thing. I haven't done anything with it in years but I think it still works. Discounting email for a moment try visiting here:

The page was about a jukebox but I put a readout on it that should show your IP when browsing. Feel free to try it. Next, try one of the many tricks to mask the IP address and try the page again. That may be of some help to see if masking is working. Again, been a long time but I think the page is operational. Originally it was only a jukebox example.
