might not be your cup of joe....but it might be very useful to others. I'm partial to the Google toolbar myself. Having said that, it looks to be a typical M$ app (bloated), but then again its all up to the individual.

The only reason I would want the Google toolbar is to have the little search field right in there. But since Firefox has just that built in to its interface, I have no need for all the extra crap on the Google or Yahoo! toolbars that just take up extra space.

I agree with the last two posts by both Blake and Rich. Some people love toolbars. I personally don't like them because they take up too much real estate and are usually useless.

The Google toolbar is all right (I just found out that alright isn't a word! :shock: lol), but FF's search is enough for me. If I want to an advanced search, I just do it from the website or type it in manually. I do that a lot, such as link:, define:, conversions, etc.

I have the google toolbar but I'm using google as my homepage now so I'll probably get rid of it. Real estate on a 15" monitor is at a premium.
