oh, I would like to point out that when AVG says to remove cookies, I delete them.
But those are tracking cookies, not important cookies like the HWL one.

Like Blondie said, I only clear my cookies when I'm having a problem. Otherwise, they stay there.

I do, however, have my IE Cache set to 50Mb. If I let it go at the default, I would have 500Mb of IE caching slowness to contend with. FireFox doesn't have this problem, so I leave it at the defaults for the most part.

Clearing Cookies wont do him much good if he isn't clearing his history, and temp files.

Just so you know Zambini, LittleBoys.com is not a shopping site for boys clothes.

There's really no reason to delete cookies as long as you're not using IE. All the other browsers are either secure enough to not require that or don't have a large enough user base to make it worth the time writing malware for it.

The only times I ever clear my cookies are when some website screws me up or something. But that's not very often.

It works for me when I use my backup software. All of my login's are still entered and my history is intact.

Never, I let the antispyware remove any suspicious ones but I never do a "clean" otherwise.
