|  Re: Home networking Finally I can see my other desktop but when I click on the computer icon I get this. Net is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permission. The network path was not found. Plus it seems to work oneway. I cannot see my laptop on the "Net" computer. But can see the Net computer on my laptop. What's that supposed to mean??? | Re: Home networking I've noticed sometimes I have to run through the Set Up a Home or Small Office Network wizard once for some machines to work right. You'll find it on the left hand toolbar in My Network Places.  |

I'm Admin on this computer with a password. I had to install passwords on the other computers as well, exactly the same as this one, in order to be granted access to the other machine. And ya, file and print sharing should be on...I think it's off in Home? Anyway, just feels like a credential thing to me, but I dunno really. If it sees the computer, you got it. Now you gotta prove it you there, and not me.  |
