Gmail's a lot better than all the others. You should give it a try. They've got a lot of switching tools.

I used it for a little while but it wasn't compelling enough to make me want to go through the trouble of switching from my yahoo account (which I love).

I have several accounts. Gmail is the main one I use. Hotmail is my garbage account, thats the one I use to sign up for stuff. Then my 2 work accounts.

I absolutely hate the new Yahoo BETA...I mean Outlook ripoff. I keep a lot of important emails stashed there in case my other account goes down or something....and they lost them all

I don't use Yahoo because you have to pay to have email client access.

I love Gmail! And guess what! Today (for the first time!) I got more invites!!!! I've got 50 now 8)

its easier to keep something in beta forever and not have to put up with the formality of an official release... also so any bugs can be attributed to the beta status and the beta can be terminated at any time so all those emails will simply disappear (last part is a doubtful scenario).

and for the record I still have 100 invites waiting...
