I managed to sneak the FSB up to 1066mhz with some voltage tweaking on the cpu and memory. Had to be very careful and just keep trying combinations of volts and speeds and timings.

So the cpu ended up at 3.73 ghz at 1.324v. The memory ended up at 568mhz and 2.0v with loosey timings but I just wanted the GHZ anyway. Seeing that clock speed go up is like a FIX!!

So now let's see.....we can shut down that rumor that nforce4 for intel can't even get to 1000mhz FSB. Cause this is one of the cheaper ones and it seems fine at 1066. I really think if I buy some better memory, it will make it up to 4ghz easily. Even if it doesn't, the memory is on my list of things to get before a new motherboard and conroe anyway.

Also, another big note.......TURN OFF THE VANDERPOOL TECHNOLOGY in the cpu. That is the VIIV crap that is probably not going to be useful to anyone for years anyway. I think that was a lot of my earlier problem.

So for those who like pictures, I've added in a few of super pi on each core with temps and fand speeds. and then anther of my video processing going to town on a couple of good movies while live TV is playing.

The last one is my favorite desktop in case anyone is interested.

When I tried to upload the images, it said invalid image file. They are bmp files and are less the 2mg. Can anyone help me with that so I can post them?
Erm...isnt Vanderpool the virtualization thing, wich boosts performence in virtual machines-wich many people use

It depends on which page of the Intel website you look at. Once place they talk about it as some home entertainment feature, on another page they talk about businesses running isolate partitions for updating their software while users are running. I also read that you have to be running Windows Media Center to activate it's features.

If someone out there is using it, correct me. But I think so far it is magic and mirrors marketing fluff.
