Ok did all that and went into bios and reset the clock looked around and all the drives were right. Exited bios ran SP2004 and 5 minutes into it I got a error.

He meant to actually shut your machine down, pull the power plug, and reset the CMOS by removing the battery and switching the jumper. Consult your motherboard manual on locating the CMOS battery and jumper.

I pulled the power plug removed the battery. I didn't change the jumper though so I'll go back and do that.

Ok I pulled the power removed the battery moved the jumper to clear cmos and then put the battery back and restarted the computer. Do I need to put the jumper back in the normal position now because I just left it in the reset position? I'm a total **** at this.

Put it back on the normal position before power up...


It will not post on the reset position

Yeah, you want to make sure you put it back to the default pins; don't leave it on reset :thumb:

Ok it's back and I'll run the PS2004 test again now.

Something really isnt right...You have a zalman right? Put the vCore between 1.45-1.5 volts in the bios. Within that range..Then report back
