I know that not alot of PC shops have "experts". You wouldn't want to see your CPU tested by a newcommer or some lazy guy. I heard horror stories from other shops around here that's why I'm telling you this. I also had horror stories with RMA guys over at my suppliers so it's not like "good guys" were running down the streets as we talk (at least not in my part of the world :P).
If you can test your CPU in another running rig, that would be great.

I'm sending it to a reliable source. Well at least I think Paul is reliable.

Yeah, that's good.

(I hate my CPU, just got my memory back and ughhh this thing won't hold 2.5ghz with 1.425 vcore)

I'm thinking the problem is my board. My memory was replaced, and it still does the same. I think my board simply doesn't like knowing my memory runs at 250mhz. 248mhz is fine, not 250mhz.
Currently running at 2.7ghz 1.5 vcore (9x 300HTT w/ mem at 245) and it's doing strong. Argh. Now if I grab another board, I will feel bad for not grabbing an AM2 and a 3800 X2 when I had the chance. :censored:

Anyway, enough spamming of your thread.

Man you wouldn't know what I tried. Over volting everything won't help either. =P
Really even when I choose 250mhz memory setting from the advanced DRAM menu and let everything else at stock (except the DRAM voltage) it has problems. I tried giving more to the nf4, won't help. Oh well it's ain't that bad i'll just use 2.45ghz and mem at 245mhz. No biggie.

Edit: Now that you mention it, I think i'm going to fiddle again with that. Currently running an OCCT test with my memory juiced up at 2.85v and my nF4 at 2.6v instead of 2.5.... looking good. =|
Please tell me I forgot the chipset all that time, please. If it works i'm buying you an ice cream. :P

Edit 2: omg, 19 minutes left. omg. It feels so good to be wrong!
Edit 3: NOOOO, failed at 11m 30s. v__v
