Looks like it was a fun event to go to, though. It would've been cool to see all that cool new hardware, and watch these guys.

Only sissy's have all their fingers. I am down to 8.

its funny this comes up as i was wondering the about this during the competition. nobody used any type of protective gear while handling LN2 and a couple of the guys were running back and forth for refills, splashing it around. i just assumed they knew what they were doing...

Haha, I'm not sure all of them are really aware of what they are doing. Cold burns = uncool. A very quick contact with evaporating ln2 will do a frostbite, so think about how fun it would feel if you got some spilled on your arm, face or other region...
It's a good thing liquid nitrogen boils almost instantly (because it's so cold) else I'm sure there would be many more accidents happening.
