| Decided to go a bit further. I just hit 3.488 GHz. I think Ill stop there. PC Mark and 3DMark went way up. I'm still testing for stability but so far so good. Running the 32M Super Pi and then the Torture test but so far so good and temps still in the 30's. cniles Antec 900 Case Antec True Power 650 PSU EVGA 680i Motherboard Intel Dual Core Duo E6600 2.4 GHz (OC to 3.488 GHz as of 7/3/07) WD Raptor X 150GB SATA 10K rpm 1GB(x2) Corsair 800 MHz Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro HSF ATI 1950X Pro SB X-Fi Fatal1ty Gamer SATA Lite-On DVDRW Win XP Pro SP2 |

| I was wondering, did you increase your voltages on anything? I'm at 3.207 with the lowest voltage settings on my bios and my cpu voltage is set at it's rated max of 1.325. I didn't try any higher fsb. If yours is running stock voltage...I may try a higher fbs tomorrow. | Yes I'm running stock voltages. The only thing I raised was the front side bus. At 3.488 GHz I had the following benchmarks: PCMark05 - 7926 3DMark05 - 10586 Super Pi 32M - 17m 38s Im running Orthos now and I'm maintain 44C on the cores with Core Temps and 45C on the CPU with Nvidia Monitor. I figure I'm reltively safe either way. I really don't think I will push it anymore. Thanks for all of the advice, Cniles ![]() Antec 900 Case Antec True Power 650 PSU EVGA 680i Motherboard Intel Dual Core Duo E6600 2.4 GHz (OC to 3.488 GHz as of 7/3/07) WD Raptor X 150GB SATA 10K rpm 1GB(x2) Corsair 800 MHz Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro HSF ATI 1950X Pro SB X-Fi Fatal1ty Gamer SATA Lite-On DVDRW Win XP Pro SP2 |

| Ive checked them every way I can. I used Core Temps / Nvidia Monitor / and even cheked in the Bios. Nvidia shows the CPU as one degree higher but other than that they are the same. I used 5 120mm fans/ 1 200mm fan/ and an Arctic Cooler 7 Pro on the CPU. All of the exhaust fans are putting out cool air to the touch. cniles Antec 900 Case Antec True Power 650 PSU EVGA 680i Motherboard Intel Dual Core Duo E6600 2.4 GHz (OC to 3.488 GHz as of 7/3/07) WD Raptor X 150GB SATA 10K rpm 1GB(x2) Corsair 800 MHz Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro HSF ATI 1950X Pro SB X-Fi Fatal1ty Gamer SATA Lite-On DVDRW Win XP Pro SP2 |

| Lol I have so many fans in this ANTEC 900 case I think I need to bolt it down to the desk to keep it from lifting off! I'm definitely not going to push it any further. cniles Antec 900 Case Antec True Power 650 PSU EVGA 680i Motherboard Intel Dual Core Duo E6600 2.4 GHz (OC to 3.488 GHz as of 7/3/07) WD Raptor X 150GB SATA 10K rpm 1GB(x2) Corsair 800 MHz Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro HSF ATI 1950X Pro SB X-Fi Fatal1ty Gamer SATA Lite-On DVDRW Win XP Pro SP2 |
