points = 110 * (daysPerWU) Where 110 is a coefficient based on your processor, 110 is for a P4 2.8GHz I believe. If I run two CPUs would.... nvm I just answered my question! The points you get are based on the CPU you use. Having two CPUs would just mean you can get more points but no extra bonus points! P.S. Yes I am :) I am playing far less games now so I can donate more of my CPU.

| 2604's and 2605's are the SWEETEST of the SMP's that I get for my C2D's! ![]() They fold fast, and have points to cheer about. Makes me forget all about "Patty melts" WU's on the uniprocessor client. :( @Hey TW! Didn't expect to see you here! |

Well, my SMP client is currently 98% done =D I can't wait! I estimated for it to be done at about 12:30ish! Can't wait at all!! What does 2604 and 2605 mean? Are there like different proteins you can get that give more points and fold faster than others? -robodude666 EDIT: w00t! It finished the WU! Its dumping out a lot of text. Hmmmm, I wonder what happens next. How long does it take for the F@H website to update with score and stuff? EDIT2: I was just assigned "Project: <2610 Clone 93, Gen 34>" I believe. Is that a good one? It is 500,000 frames. Also, screwball.. Where do I get this FahMon client thing that outputs the time remaining for SMP? Last edited by robodude666; June 27th, 2007 at 08:34.

| 2604 and 2605 are the BEST little WU's for the native Linux SMP client. On my rigs they fold in about 22 hours. 1756 points. That's about 1,875 ppd!! :) Every client has it's own favorite WU's, and that favorite changes over time as new WU's come into the mix, and older WU's are completed and removed from the list of projects that Stanford is giving out atm. TW and I and I have "run across" each other's posts, several time, on other boards. I fold for two other teams, and have only put in about 45,000 points into this team (under two names). If you go to Stanford's main web page, and click on "Stats", you can enter my name, and see all my "Adak" stats. The other name you can deduce if you use a little sleuthing (or geography), skill. FAHMon's homepage is: The Silent Blade and follow the link. I'm not running it right now, but I know it's working for "most" of the FAH clients, and most of the projects, but not all. Well worth having, though. Last edited by Adak; June 28th, 2007 at 00:15. |

| Colonel Calamity | the 2610 is the best for the Windows SMP client, about 1250ppd AVERAGE (peak 1457ppd) on my E6600. The 2604 & 2605 get to max 1300ppd peak (same CPU) on the Windows client. Adak already mentioned the FahMon client.... I have dual monitors so I just keep FahMon open on the left secondary and the websurfing and gaming and whatnot on the primary 19" widescreen. FahMon is nice especially since I have several clients on the network (wifes PC, motherinlaws PC, fileserver, etc) that I can monitor without switching computers. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! | Yup :) Thanks guys. I downloaded FahMon 2.2.1a a few hours ago. But it seems that my PPD is going down because the ETA has been almost the same the entire day. Should be done in 1 day 4 hours for 1523 points! The 2610 is at 53% right now. For some odd reason, my graphical client has a deadline in 56 days... its nice :) |

| Colonel Calamity | yes the deadlines are usually right on..... but 56 days sounds ways off... my 2610 shows: Downloaded: June 28, 15:41 Preferred: July 02, 15:41 Final: July 02, 15:41 so the proper deadline is 4 days, not 56 ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair!
