Just a heads up to those GPU folding.
The new Forceware 180.70 beta include the latest CUDA, which makes the CPU usage drop to 0~2% per GPU core folding instead of 50%.

Cheers. :)

Edit: 180.60 also include CUDA 2.1
http://www.nvidia.com/object/cuda_get.html

Edit 2: This thus enables you to lower CPU temps or run SMP full time if you were GPU folding, if someone was wondering. :P

The downside seems to be a bit of a PPD loss (100~150PPD on one card of my 9800GX2)
Although this is more than regained using SMP.

I can't wait to move out! So much potential to build, and no room or cash here for me to do it.

Looks like my 24 hr. average is around 770 points. Pretty darn good, but I'm hoping I get two $50 gift cards from Wal-Mart for Christmas, then I could get myself a PS3, and add that to my folding. That would give me a huge boost in points!

Main PC: Intel Pentium D 930, Asus P5LP-LE, 2GB DDR2-4300 RAM @ 4-4-4-12, Lightscribe CD/DVD Drive, DVD-ROM, 300W PSU, GeForce 7300LE, Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II, HP Media Drive Port, 300 GB Hard Drive
Laptop: 900 MHz Intel Moblie CPU, 512MB RAM, 4GB SSD, Intel 910 Motherboard, Linux OS (customized by Asus), 8.8 x 6.5 x 0.9 inches, 7.0 Inch screen, integrated camera, 2.0(without power cord)/2.4 lbs.(with power cord) _________________________________________

I doubt my power supply would support it.

Way to go team! Keep it going!

I am really hoping to get the Wal-Mart gift cards now, as I got the software I needed for my business (Wal-Mart gift cards = PS3 for folding by end of January!). So I would be kind of confused to what to buy at Staples if I get gift cards from there.

Heads up to some people, if you got SMP EUEs really often a new 6.23 exe is available here
Folding Forum • View topic - 6.23/windows deadline extended Feb 2,2009 to July 4, 2009
Install SMP 6.22 then overwrite the executable by the one provided in the thread.
