So psyched. Not sure what in the world I did but at least it is fixed now. Looking forward t piling up the points like i was before.

Can I change the title of this thread to 178 DOES fold?
Haha you were more persistent than me I guess. 178 does fold, like any driver before (since CUDA support obviously), but as I wrote in a post earlier my 9800GX2 wouldn't initialize properly half if not 3/4th of the time. This results in a black screen when Windows loads. Sometimes the secondary output (second card) would initalize properly, just not the first one. Sometimes it was the other way around. Going back to 177.83 seemed to fix all those problems.

I wouldn't wish those problems to my biggest ennemy, it was a pain to troubleshoot. Reboot in safe mode, uninstall driver. Boot back in normal, run driver cleaner, reboot again in normal mode. Install driver another time, in case something went wrong with first installation. Oh it works. Oh now it doesn't. @__@

I think there may be some other driver or application that is conflicting with the newest CUDA driver for it to cause all these issues rather than an inherent problem with the driver itself.
