| Alright, I give. Add me to your list as well. I have a Pent 3 1ghz internet server that runs 24/7 and is always connected to dial-up on it's own phone line. It won't be much help but I'll do what I can. Folding@Home and how about your main rig? it won't interfere with anything you do on it (folding only uses the unused CPU cycles)... OKOK - let's not be greedy - anyway - once you find out how much fun it is, you will probably add it anyway ![]() Main rig: Chieftec modded case,MSI P4N Diamond, D830@3.48Ghz,1.4V,928FSB 2GB patriot Extreme Performance 6400@900Mhz, 4-4-4-17 Inno3D 7900GT@542Mhz/1.6Ghz, Thermalright SI-97 Samsung 320GB, Maxtor 250GB; Antec 500W Swiftech NB, Asus StarIceBlue CPU cooler; XP Pro Laptop: Dell XPS 1530 (T7500; 3GB 667 RAM; 160GB 7200rpm HDD; 8600GT; Vista 32bit) my 6800LE mod Last edited by sbohdan; May 12th, 2007 at 21:53. | |

| Welcome Banditman! If it's got some unused cpu time, HL needs it. :) Some faster teams are getting ready to pass us, and HL needs to pass some of the slower teams right in front of it, to stay in the much-desired top 1,000 teams ranking. If you use a screen saver, (besides just blanking the screen), turning it off will let FAH have a lot more cycles. Glad to have you on the team. |

| Colonel Calamity | The console/text version tends to do much better on older computers... also there may be some units that take 2-3 weeks to finish. There are some that take a week on my wife's 1.8GHz P4... ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |
