Another bit of newer info, single core client version 6 is available as Beta...

edit: wow v6 is different than before... I was not expecting the change. I am curious what the point difference is.... checking FahMon now...

edit2: not much difference, just a different format... but I may switch a few of my single cores over...

but there is a new 5.92 SMP beta client out as well but that one is a pain to setup.

Thanks HL and Corsair!

Tested the "new" SMP, bunch of work for nothing, and more geared towards people with a fleet of computers connected by network than anything else.

If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you?

I never could get mine to run as a service so I just have it startup the console window and I keep it minimized... and this has spanned 3 different reinstalls of windows on this same computer so I am not wure whats going on....

You tell me. I configured it all up to see it gave nothing more. :P
Worse, when I re-did my normal install I somehow messed up my config and was folding under anonymous and team 0. No wonder my PPD went down a lil bit over the last few days haha

I run my SMP as a service on one computer, but on my main I use console that I minimize to my tray with an application so it doesn't bother me. I prefer that way because I often overclock and test crap out, I don't want my WU to be corrupted and start over.

it seems that there is only 4 Hardware Logic members left folding on the team. I don't understand - there is close to 1400 HL members and only 4 are willing to help humanity by contributing to research. this is sad... its only me, screwball, bailey and blake. on a big forum like this there should be @ least a 100 active folders just going by statistics. its charity people! and it won't even cost you anything! this little service just uses the UNUSED CPU cycles, so I can't see why wouldn't anybody just run it in the background when all of you turn on your computers everyday anyway...
