hey Blake, did you do the upgrade yet we would like to welcome you back on the team

anyone else guys
how about reactivating old members
just install the client and let it run whenever your rig is on anyway. that's all. it doesn't slow down your computer (uses only the unused cycles of the CPU) and you could contribute to science and the whole humanity
let's show what our little community could do...
for those who don't know how: go to the welcome section of the F@H forum and you get links on where to download the client and how to install it. let's double or triple our points and move up in ranks

welcome to the team buran!
May take a bit to catch up with some of us... I just added my second Core2 proc yesterday, a E2140 in addition to me E6600.... but I like seeing others trey to catch up, give them and myself a goal to shoot for.
I myself and shooting for 12-14K points per week on 2 procs.

also did you get the regular client or the SMP client? the SMP works great on these Core2's

Thanks HL and Corsair!

I'm pretty sure I just got the smp client, I didnt have a whole lot of time before I had to leave for work, so when I didnt see anything that said SMP in bold I just grabbed the first download that was rated for windows, lol.

I'll have to look at it closer when I'm at home.

I'll have my new system up and running this week and I'll make it a point to get F@H installed again after the reformat

with the 2 systems in your sig you could get the SMP client running on them and have most members passed by in a matter of a week or two.

Well, the one AMD 3600 Brisbane system is at my dad's house on dial-up right now, so it won't be folding. I'll be getting an E8400 though, so that's what I'll be putting F@H on. Should I do the SMP client on a dual core system?

I may, I've never done the SMP client. I'll give it a shot when the system arrives (which is supposed to be Tuesday) and let you know!
