There should be a special user group for the HL folders and a different colored username too. Give people more incentive to fold.

that's funny because there should be no difference in games when folding. folding only uses the unused cycles of your CPU... the problem should be somewhere else.

then it sounds like computer problems to me.... when a program is started up such as a game, it releases the cpu cycles and give the game/program all the power it needs, even if it is 100% of the cpu speed...

Thanks HL and Corsair!

I have run folding with many games and multiple computers without a single problem ever.. so it must be improper headspace timing issues

Thanks HL and Corsair!

Give me a couple more days, I've been trying to ensure a place in the top ten at OCIA.net that will last a long while, should be at #8 today or tomorrow. (I think that there are only 3 active folders including me) Then I am all yours.

I had problems with an old online Half-Life mod called Firearms, it would lag considerably when folding but did just fine when the work was stopped. So I just stopped work while I played, then resumed when I was done. That was the only game that did it though, I have a feeling it might have just been because it was an online game (and had its fare share of bugs too).

Well, the one rig is now at my Dad's house on dial-up and is off 85% of the time. My rig is going to get reformatted in a couple weeks anyway as I'm upgrading processor and motherboard. I'll try and get back on the bandwagon soon!
