| Thanks for all the support and warm welcomes :) I'm now running 6 systems on FAH. Got about another 6 to set up gradually! Couple of Xeons, couple of old HP NetServer's (dual P3 933's), some laptops too.... okay so maybe more than 6 ;) |

| are you sure you got the SMP client set up properly on all these rigs, with the proper team# (50578) and all? just asking because your PPD seems low for so many machines (except if you running the regular client), also I saw some points you had that come from the regular (non SMP) client (119p - LaKraven - User Summary - EXTREME Overclocking Folding @ Home Stats). or do you have a regular client on any of the rigs running? right now it shows you have 5 CPU's running all together...( Folding@Home ) those old net servers: you can only use the regular client with them. to use high performance SMP clients, you need at least a dual core CPU and folding 24/7. with regular clients you don't need to run them 24/7 because they have much longer deadlines... | I have two single core systems using the regular client, one dual core running SMP, one quad core running SMP, and one machine just using the GPU2 client (paused for now whilst I resolve the heat issue). The reason the WU's haven't yet finished for the two systems running SMP is that I am using these machines for other things at the same time (so it's slowing down the client) but the dual core is at 58% of its current WU, the Quad Core is at 61% of its current WU (caught up and overtaken the dual core which started more than 1 hour before it). By the end of today these WU's will be completed and the points added. Are you sure that dual CPU systems won't use both CPU's on the SMP client? The NetServers have dual 933MHz P3 CPU's.... it aint much, but it's something! Going to unpack the Xeons from my garrage this weekend (aint easy considering I still have a lot of packed boxes in the way from when I moved home as well as two motorbikes, a lawnmower and some other stuff!) I'm hoping those will complete WU much quicker than the other machines (and run the SMP clients) |

If the P3 servers are running the SMP client right now, than I guess its OK, just watch out for deadlines that are pretty tight for the SMP. I presume you are using Fahmon to monitor the WU's progress. If yes, than just check the deadlines on the less powerfull machines. If that is OK as well than everything is fine.
