Actually 1 more thing about my zalman 9700... I have the fan facing towards the rear 120mm fan instead of pointing it towards the video card n psu... My case is a thermaltake shark n i have a evga 680i to give u guys an idea of how this looks... As if the rear case fan is parallel with the zalman 9700... I saw some pics in the zalman 9700 review and mine is set up differently and it worried me... Should i rotate it to make it point towards the video card and psu???

no, keep it pointing (blowing) towards the rear fan so that fan pulls out the hot air as fast as possible

Thanks HL and Corsair!

I have my CNPS9500, the 9700's little brother, pointed with the fan towards the memory slots so that it blows towards the rear of the case.

Orienting it up/down will just pull hot air off your video card. If it fits going front to back, just leave it that way.

I usually make it so that the hot air faces the rear exhaust to let out the hot air.

Agreed, keep it blowing toward the rear exhaust fan at the back of the case

Either way though, it's probably not going to make a huge difference.

If you want but I think we know what your talking about. The best way is to position the fan so that it is blowing towards the rear of the case. Your rear exhaust will help suck out the hot air giving you better temperatures.
