| Colonel Calamity | 1 option is to look at the drive jumpers. Make sure they are set properly. I had a system that would hang on the drive discovery area on boot for 10-20 seconds and then again when windows was starting up whenever I removed the secondary hard drive. Yet when that hard drive was connected it zipped along nice and fast. the problem was the jumper on the main drive was set to "Master with Slave" instead of "Master No Slave"..as soon as that jumper was switched it worked flawlessly ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |
