:D Tomorrow we tackle the front audio which doesn't have the same descriptions in the mobo user guide as the wires from the case front panel. I have removed 2 jumpers from the mobo audio hookup on the mobo so after this tomorrow I'll finish all the other connections except for a video card and fire it up to see what blows. :D

Heh good luck, that's always a pain when the wires aren't correctly color coded and all the name are different. Just check on the wires then on the manual for those who have similar names and you should be able to put most of them without problem.

Ok here's the Audio Quizz. :D

Front Panel Audio

1-3-5-7-9
2-4-6-8-10

1=agnd
3=+5va
5=bline out r
7=nothing
9=bline out L

2=mic2
4=mic pwr
6=line out r
out r 8=nc
10=line out L
^^^ Mobo pinout

2 cables
first cable 3 plugs
1. L out
2. ret L
3. r out

second cable

1.ground
2.ret r
3.mic in
4.mic pwr

Ok the mic, ground and power are easy. I have no clue where to put the ret-r, r-out,ret-L and L-out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I plugged it in there and finished hooking everything else up and turned it on without any smoke or burnt smell so I figure I'm not totally screwed yet. If it blows a headset then it's not a big loss since I got a $5 set I'll try first.
