Ah, hopefully we have found the problem.

If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you?

And that's an errant conclusion. All memory has errors. The longer you look, the more you see. If you had ECC memory, you'd see less...yet would still see some if ran for 24 hours.

You'll know if an actual problem is the memory within 3 passes.

And this is where I see the signature being very handy. Crucial makes awesome products, sure. But there's a strand of bad Crucial sticks currently running around. Don't know what you really have, except that it's crashing when used and you have Crucial brand memory.

Re-read, and I'm fuzzy as to why this set is set to 2.25V. That's some serious volts for not overclocking and just trying to get it to run. A simple run of CPUz will show you what it's actually running at, and another tab will reflect the way it's meant to be set. Note the ratio just as much as the SPD suggested settings. If it says for your memory, 4-4-4-12 at 2.2v and 400Mhz, that's assumed 1:1 as a lower ratio is granted.

Same same, right? So if you're not overclocking, we can really easily assume the "266" SPD settings on quality memory over what it says for 400Mhz (screenshots on a 333 quad, so it's relative). The table tells what it should do. Such as:

These are worst case scenarios with quality ram, firm settings for others. So now we're at the worst case scenario with this Crucial memory...I think. If it shows errors in 3 passes, it's RMA time. If not, it's one of many other things. Which Orthos will NOT tell you in blend. Blend will fail even the most stable computers.

Re-read again, he got it set at 2.2v, and that's what Crucial suggests for his memory kit. ;D

Edit: As for what CPU-Z reports, it shows how your RAM could run to follow JEDEC standards (1.8v/MAX 1.9v). Additionally you might see an EPP profile, which is usually what the manufacturer recommends and should be detected by most BIOS automatically.

My Mushkin set also suggests 2.1-2.25V at 5-5-5-20 (DDR2-1066)

Thanks HL and Corsair!

I dont know if any of you play wow. But it ran all day fine when i was out solo questing.

The second i went into BT in a raid i crashed, since i have crashed about every 2-3minutes.

Higher stress on everything, but mainly graphics right? Im so lost with this computer now.

The crash wasnt bsod though, everything would just go blank, a black screen. My front LED would not be lit up, but i could still hear the last thing that was said over ventrillo. (looping.)

I have to power down to get things rolling, and then it took 2 restarts for it to actually boot up.

It might be a faulty graphics card or overheating. What is your graphic card?
You might as well take a moment and write your full system specs in your signature so we don't have to ask.

If you can, I'd either use a different video card, or let a friend borrow that one and see if it's stable in a different computer.
