First off, some info. List of HP manuals for your laptop. HP has a nasty habit of changing the web address for these manuals for whatever strange reason. Download the ones you need and burn them to disk. HP also does away with them on occasion.... | Ok I have the HD in my hand right now, but I think it's a different type of SATA connectors. I am use to change IDE HD but I've only installed like 3 SATA but those connectors look different. There's 2 sections of pins of equal height, one has double the amount of pins as the other, but from what I remember the power for a SATA HD is a perfect square. What could I do whit that HD?? I was thinking to put it inside my desktop but I doubt the pins config will match the ones in my desktop.
What is the SATA connector called for an HD on a laptop? Maybe they have the same type of cables, SATA to USB. Intel Q6600
Corsaire 2x1gb XMS2
GIGABYTE 965P-DQ6
BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC 320
OCZ EvoStream 720w
