I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal.

Er, did I miss something, or did you switch videocards and then conclude the PSU is fine? Seems to me that switching the videocard would rule out the (*drum roll*) videocard...

Actually I thought it was fine. But it is still restarting even with the different videocard.

But it could also the PSU. The 6600 doesn't require as much juice as the 8800. If the 8800 was overloading the PSU then the 6600 wouldn't. And if the PSU still reboots with a less hungry card then it could be concluded also that the PSU is not overloaded with an 8800 and that the problem is something else or a combo of multiple things. Or no?

Ty, that doesn't clear the PSU, that clears the original videocard. True the 6600GT doesn't pull as much power as the 8800GTS, but you can't automatically make the leap that the PSU is fine. Reboots related to the PSU don't automatically mean there's too much load being put on it, it can also mean that the PSU is simply faulty.

Slow down and re-read what you quoted, or reference above. That's exactly what I'm saying...

Yea....

It's been up for a while now and I've had no reboots. Things are looking good so far. Checking the 12v rail shows a rating of 12.13v! Nice psu!

Hmmm, 12.13v is considered good? I thought it was fairly high. =/
