Yeah, dude you have to run multiple passes of Memtest to get an accurate stability reading. One pass isn't going to do it. I suggest an overnight run.

First pass finished a little while ago. No errors yet.

Initially my thought was the PSU just may not be good enough to run the system. Not even necessarily the wattage which should be alright, the PSU itself seems a bit too crappy to me.

Make sure the extra 4-pin CPU plug is plugged in (both with the main connector and the separate one)...that's all I can think of other than trying a new/better PSU in the system.

All the necessary power connectors are connected. This whole power thing seems over blown to me. I checked all the rails on the first day i had this thing installed (both molex and ATX) and they had hardly moved compared to my last setup. This was under full load, running RTHDRIBL and Prime95. 5 Passes.

I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal.

Ty, have you checked the Event Viewer? Barring that, I'd recommend disabling automatic restarts so you can see what error message(s) is being associated with the reboots:

- Right click My Computer and select Properties
- Click the Advanced tab
- Click Settings under Startup and Recovery
- Uncheck Automatically Restart under System Failure

Event viewer is clean. There is nothing. When a restart occurs, there is no error message it just restarts.

I ran memtest86+ for 7 passes error free and then stopped. I went into the bios and loaded the optimized defaults. So far I've been using the system for around half an hour and no restarts have occured. Thing is...

Does that look right? The memory is ddr2-533 and it's running at 333.3 mhz?

You know this because you've disabled automatic restarts? If not, you'll never know if there's an underlying error message or not...

Sshh. Why don't you go and play basketball?

Wait come back. It just restarted. There was no underlying error message.

DDR2-533 running at 333MHz in CPU-Z means the RAM is really running at 667MHz speed.

Yea. Which is way above spec. Which means I should lower it. It was lower earlier and I was still getting reboots.
