Not bad but you wouldnt want to go much higher.

this is kind of off topic but I cant get a decent temp for my E6750. Coretemp says 18 degrees idel, intel TAT says 21 and realtemp says 29 degrees. They all sound way too low to be valid, the rooms 22 degrees C. No overclocking for me unitl I get this problem sorted out.

Disapointed in intel for making bad sensors, even for the new E8xxx

You shouldn't have to worry too much about the temps. If you have decent cooling, I think you should go for it. My E8400 shows 34C at stock idle and 35C OC'ed idle. Never ever got below. At full load it shows 49C using RealTemp and 59C using CoreTemp. Running in a Antec 900 hundred with a Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme and ICD7.

If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you?

Thanks polo, I'll definately do it after my exams, but im bogged down in revision for the next couple of months. Still, hard work can only be rewarded.

the main thing to be concerned about with temp reading programs is a massive jump, say from 20c to 60c. you may have a problem. as long as they dont spike, they give you a fair idea of whats going on. the only absolute way to get perfect temps is to have a die mounted thermocouple
