Lets not stress until we get a video card in theere and can actually see the post screen.
Ok, I'm goung to get a entry level card in a couple weeks just so I can get it up and running, if I wait till I get a 7600 gt it will take too long. This PS is one that came with a case so I will change that later as well. I just want to get it up and running since I've had it so long already. I'll post back here after I get a video card and get it installed.

The ram modules are in the first two yellow slots and they were working when removed from another mobo ( these are the modules I got from Rich for forum member of the month ) The front connectors are also connected. Still no beep. :(
The speaker that everyone is referring to, is not your speaker set that connects to the onboard sound!!!
The speaker that you need to hook up is the little tiny in case speaker that plugs into the front panel ports. The same area that your reset, power, hdd led and activity led plug into. It will be a 4pin connection in the same area. Look at your mobo manual, and it will tell you which 4 pins are the speaker pins. It should tell you which is positive and which is negative. The speaker wire will only have one red wire on one end and a black wire on the other end with 2 empty pin holes in the middle.

Doh I thought it needed to be outside speakers. Ok I'll see what I can do. I figured it was something I did wrong.

For award BIOSes

if it goes BEEEEEEEP BEEP BEEP(Es signifying beep length), the BIOS couldn't initailze the video card, or couldnt find a display adaptor, if it is a steady beep, like BEEEP BEEEP BEEEP, its a memory error.

It was one beep, just a little longer than my other computer. I'll see when I get a video card in it. I think everything is ok though.

Did you let it sit to see if it made the beep again?

Just for a little bit. Should it beep again? I'll run it again and post back.

I would just wait until you get a video card. I really wouldn't worry too much about the single beep. I not sure on ECS mobo's but normally if everything is up and running ok, you will only hear 2 short beeps when the mobo posts.

I think I would just wait until you get your vid card in and then just post it up. I would imagine that all is well at this point!
