ok well computer is working now, quite well i might add. As for choice of mobo, it was cheap and had intel chipset instead of VIA.

The RAM issue has been solved, tried both slots with both stick, the good stick worked in both slots then the other didnt work at all. So i just sent it back today, I'm a bit on the lazy side, especially since it runs good with just 512MB.

Default Oh more trouble. . .

Well looks like im not out of the pit yet. So i have been experiencing random freezing of my computer, ill either be listenning to music, browsing the intarweb, or watching a movie, and the computer will all of a sudden freeze. So far this has only happened 4 times, first time i thought it may have been the speed of the memory, i changed it, then it happenned again and again and again. But yea so far each time it freezes i have some type of audio going, nothing really taxing the CPU or GPU, its just a bit of odd luck. Anyone got any idears as to the cause?

no I haven't tested the RAM yet I should do that today, but for how long? I have never actually used it before.

Its just milk. you can even see the jug behind me, besides i cropped the photo just right so you all wouldn't see the pool of curdled milk vomit in front of me.

It will run for about 20 minutes a pass. I usually say 2 passes with no errors = your good to go. Is this a fresh windows installation or old?

So can i just burn this to a cd? and then run right after windows loads run it? Or do i need a floppy?

As for the install, its about a week or two old.

EDIT:::::::::::::

You can use ultimate Boot CD, it has memtest86+ on it.

You change the boot order in the BIOS and boot from the CD instead of the HDD; Memtest will start running (testing) automatically as soon as it boots from the CD.
