You need to read the Forum Rules, it's clearly stated in there. We are letting it slide this time, but next time will earn you a time out. You also need to create a sig so you are in compliance with the forum rules.

....And Welcome to HL.

just type the specs in the signature box in the user cp for now. Later find the Dr.V signature thread and he will probably be happy to hook you up with a good sig.

Did the new motherboard resolve temperature issues? I also have dg33tl (but with q6600) and I'm getting idle temps (according to Core Temp) of about 44C, and upto 82C under load! RPM of my fan is about 1120 until temp hits 82C then it fires upto about 1300-1400RPM, which keeps the temp from going higher than 82C -- which is too high for my liking.

Fan control of dg33tl is appaling -- and even plugging my stock heatsink into the 3 pin fan headers does nothing for temps!

IHAvent Used Core Temp i Was Using SpeedFan Ann Everest Ultimate. But i did recieve the The New Board And Same Issue. With Everest My Idle Is about Main CPU 43-44C CPU1,2,3,4-/36/32/35/34 and load usually reaches 74-75C Before will speed Up Ever So Slightly.
With Speed Fan IDLE 19/20C And With Load Usually 50-55C

Im Still not happy though with this new quiet Fan Technology they have inquired into this Board. Thats What Makes the Fan Not Speed Up. I Like it Oncew there is a load i want that Fan To Be spinning so that it doesnt need to reach that high Temp. even if you go throught the bios you can set the fan control to aggresive which is supposed to make the Fan Kick into Full once the CPU Reaches 61C with it on Normal It should do that once it hits 71C But eith way ihave never seen my fan Go Anywhere near it's 2500Rpm Speed Highest ever seen it 1050

sounds like time for a fan controller like what was mentioned earlier.... also it may help to remove the heatsink and use your own compound, one of the ones mentioned in the compound review. If this still doesn't help then an aftermarket cooler like a CPNS9700 or Freezer or Big Typhoon.
Even under load you should not be seeing anything over 50ºC so it may be time to replace the cooler.

Thanks HL and Corsair!

Think you are right: a new cooler is in order. Have re-compounded to no avail. Unfortunately can't find a software fan control that works on the DG33tl -- or one that will connect to a 4pin connector (Zalman fanmate 2 requires 3 pin).

As for coolers: like the look of the Thermalright ultima 90.

DG33tl, q6600, Crucial 667 Ram, Antec Solo, Seagate 500gb hd.
