Default Re: Need Assist Pegging the Villain Hardware

Update: Discovered skipping nvidia storage driver at f6, with just the boot sata online, no problems. SMBUs driver needed, to get IDE HD's online, or get system disk bootup error.

alota devices running with MS drivers: one finds 3 primary ide, 3 secondary ide and 3 standard ide dual channel pci ide controllers..what up dat? Can't seem to locate the boot sata in there, found the the ide drives.

I ran winar's test, on large batches of rar files, on each online drive, boot sata, master and slave ide drives...not a burp, poked system in the eye, while winrar batch testing 70+ gb on the boot sata's 2nd partition, had seperate instances searching the ide drives then launching inter archive test modes...again not a burp.

Mulling what to do next, thinking installing the GART driver, running the rar deal above again, if good nic/lan pci card driver, test again/good..then bringing windows up to date...less someone happens to recommend a diff tactical advance.

peace
