|  Re: Internet speed problem Are you capping your upload speeds? You need to leave a minimum of 20kB/s available for outgoing htp requests and such, or it will slow to a crawl as you're experiencing. Run a speedtest and set your cap in utorrent. Also, it would be best to consolidate utorrent use to one machine, instead of two.   |

As soon as I turn on utorrent, even if it is not doing any downloads or uploads, it is so busy "waiting" for a connection of any kind (it keeps multiple ports open), it bogs down the network. I have not found any fix in the past few years for this other than to try different torrent clients.  Thanks HL and Corsair!
