sweet... and by the way, i'm not sure what speed your tracers are running at, but i've got my kit at 1125MHz and only get a 5.8 in vista perf test.

Im at stock speed with the pair. Im on my sons rig now,with a quad core Q6600, 8800GT superclocked. Nothing major,running in the background and it's giving me a 5.2.When I had the 4 x 1GB in my sig,I had a 5.9 on the memory.I will have to see what my rig is showing with the 2 stix.

I get 5,9 everywhere except for the HDD, 5,4. So I say it's right on par.

Dude...my kit of Kingston DDR2-533 ValueRAM scores a 5.9, so by Vista logic I've got monster ICs hiding in that budget memory.

Maybe the Q6600 is slowing it down?

See When Vista first test for the performance index there are no real VGA drivers installed. The Rating has to be manually run over again. I get all 5.9 across the board.

On my dads computer 1x36GB Raptor and 2x old SATA 150 80GB in RAID 0 get 5.9 for storage.

Put it like this, a 9800Pro gets 4.3 in Windows gaming index....
