| I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal. | And on that same token, just keep correspondence with them courteous. I know that sounds obvious and should go without saying, but we had a member complain to Gigabyte in the past because he wasn't hitting a stable 4GHz (insert rolls eyes smiley here), blamed the motherboard, then berated Gigabyte over it. Situations like that make it hard to intervene. |

![]() Yes, they have been upstanding in previous RMA's. I did not loose my cool in front of them, just straight to the point and not insulting thier integrity. Maybe just my luck, that after I reassembled, I created a short on/in the connection. ![]() Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe. Amd X2 4200 2GB Corsair XMS Extreme. BFG 8800GTS 320 OC2 ThermalTake "Big Typhoon". | I've only worked on one or two Gigabyte boards, and they all gave me headaches. Very picky mobos, and since these are all older boards, I put it down to the "old stuff" syndrome. Now you make me wonder if there isn't something just a little bit wonky about Gigabyte boards, customer service nothwithstanding.
