i can check that out. However, i've never had this problem, right when i got the mobo? I don't think AS5 spilt anywhere, so unless it somehow moved onto the mobo. LOL

Ok guys, my problem is back to bite me in the ass another time. Its been working FINE all day. Been playing source for hours on my 7600gt. Then i think to myself, might as well install my 600w PSU from ultra. Next thing you know, i see those damned horizontal lines that i'm too familiar with. Any ideas?

The only way i sorta "fixed" this problem last time was reformatting my computer.

EDIT: can't be a driver problem, i just installed the newest and greatest from nvidia just this morning and it was working fine. I really don't get it. I doubt that its the PSU that is causing this problem, because when i first had this problem, i used my Antec. Then i fixed the problem and i was stilling using the Antec psu. I pulled one of the ram modules for a moment and put it into another computer, but thats not the problem because it was working in that computer. Can't be VGA, i didn't even touch it. I thought maybe there was dust in the ram slot, but thats not the problem, i blew at the ram slots and even put the ram into the other ram slots. Still no good. I reset the BIOS too, no good.

I'm confused once again.

Just incase someone does know, i'll post the problem again.

There are these horizontal lines across the screen that have the width of about a pixel. They shake around, and there are so many lines, it covers the whole screen. Each line shakes, and it makes the whole screen "shake" The lines are only horizontal, not vertical.

EDIT:

This may also be just coincidence, but i'll post it anyways. I can't seem to log onto msn. I wasn't able to log onto msn the last time i had this problem either.

Anything in the PCI slots? Tried checking your RAM with Memtest86+?
Try unplugging your CD and floppy. Change cable IDE cable if you're using a IDE HDD. Don't forget to unplug internal USB's if you have any plugged. Remove fans from your power circuit too.
Whenever you have the time, I suggest you lay down your computer in pieces on a table and boot it like that. It could well be a short with your case.

Check for interference sources aside your computer. TV, wireless router, cordless phones, anything. I know some places around here where you can't even have a monitor or it will be shaking because of radio frequencies. Put your BIOS back to default, it's no time to be overclocking.

Try to boot your computer with a different keyboard/mice if you can, or maybe even none.

i can try mem test mabye.

IT can't be any sort of frequencies because i've always had the computer in that place. It's worked before, it just doesn't work right now.

I use a SATA HDD, so it can't be that one. I'm going to china for a bit, leaving on the 25th, coming back on the 7th. I try again at this problem when i come back.

However, my guess, is the mobo. Although i'm not sure. I'll see if i can find another s939 mobo and try it out.

yeah, it's beginning to sound like a mobo. one of those freak incidences I guess...hey, at least the fix appears, at the moment, to be a relatively cheap one.

the weird thing is that, it worked perfectly fine. I install the PSU. Everything craps up again. Out of the blue. AND i can't use msn. Its weird.
