Drive letter assignment - Page 2

When you install Windows, it can mess up sometimes when you have more than one HDD installed. I've made it a habit to unplug all extra HDD's except the boot drive when installing Windows so I don't get weird stuff happening (like odd drive letters and such).

Thats exactly what I do... never had this problem.

Yep. Don't forget to unplug memory readers that might be plugged in the internal USB ports too.
