| NVIDIA GPU2 Folding@home client is most definitely beta, and it is called "beta" for a reason! If you are willing to use the NVIDIA GPU2 F@H program then you are accepting and aware of this risk. While mostly fixed with updates, crashes and BSODs can still occur. Some Vista users are still experiencing BSODs as of beta 8. More typical is that Vista users may experience a driver crash, and Vista will restart the graphics drivers. If this occurs make sure to close F@H and reboot soon as possible, as the system can eventually blue screen anyway and is no longer stable. I've read 177.35v works better but I don't think this will change the beta nature of the software. I suggest you go and report the bugs because I doubt you have hardware problems at this point. Although your PSU is somewhat weak IE: 4x 18a virtual rails, when 8800GTX recommends 28a rails minimum as alluded to above, I doubt it is the real cause. Also your temps seem high IMHO for stock clocks remove the HS and clean thoroughly then reapply TIM do your best to keep the pads in tack Tim alone is not recommended in those areas without an after market cooler. | I uninstalled the drivers I had on the computer and installed the 177_35. So far the system is stable and seems to be working fine. I will report back in a couple of days whether this has solved the problem or not. Hopefully it has.
