tried that a long time ago. The onboard power doesn't work either.



E2140 @ 375 x 8 = 3.0ghz
2x1 ocz system 1337s pc2-6400 5-5-5-15 @ 450mhz
gigabyte P35 S3L
eVGA 7600GT Stock
120 gig seagate
ULTRA X-Finity 600w
Sonata 2 w/ top fan
G5 Lazer Mouse

no i haven't tried switching out the psu yet. I thought the psu would be alright because i see lights on the mobo...? well i have a spare psu in my room, its a aspire 420watt psu. I'll see if i can use that to turn the computer on.

One last hing that popped into my mind, say you had a power surge or something like that, and it went through your LAN lines, it might be possible that your LAN card went kaput. I fixed a computer that had the same symtoms; no boot screen, just sat there and looked at me like I was a retard.

That is why I told him to pull all of the cards, and unplug all of the drives, pull all but one stick of ram.

well i tried my other psu. I got a quick less than half a secound flash of blue light from the psu and that was it.

I'm afraid this mobo goes to DFI for RMA. I hope that my next one will be just as good an ocer as this old bad boy.

EDIT: how do i rma a mobo? I've never done this before. LOL this IS my first real pc.

i sent an email to the tech support under the branch heading. Is that correct?
