The ECS board doesn't use one.
You might try clearing the BIOS and pulling the battery to see if that does any good.

Cleared the CMOS and pulled the battery. Still nothing. Award says a long single beep is video and this is a long beep compared to a post but not much longer.

does the video card have the extra power input on the back???

Even if it does not, I will still stick with the power supply!

No the only extra power is a molex connector in the mobo by the first PCI-e slot.

Have you tried plugging a molex power connector into that plug? That should only be for SLI, but, not having the extra 4 plug for the main power plug, it may need to be plugged in.

Maybe worth a try.

well, we've been through 2 CPUs, so thats not it.
you can try one stick of memory in the different slots, but I don't think its the memory, as that kit was working perfectly until now....so my money is still on a faulty video card.....maybe see if someone can test the card for you

I'll see if I can find someone to test the card but i don't know anyone that has PCI-e. I might be able to find a PCI card to try though. Maybe one of my cousins has one.

I was messing with my compuer today and I unpluged the 8 pin +12V power connector. I forgot to plug it back in when I powered on my system, and guess what happened. It powered on I got a beep, and no video.

So if your board has an 8 or 4 pin +12v power connector, and your PS doesn't you need a new PSU. If your PSU does have one, make sure its plugged into the MoBo.
