If the fan is spinning then you are good to go. If the fan is not spinning, then you need to figure something out ASAP (like connect it directly to the power supply or find a replacement).

my case is actually seethrough, i cant see any fan on the mobo, but the other fans all look functional, theirs a two fans on the side of the case spinning, then their is a cpu fan running, and one more twords the bottom spining.. Is their any way i can check if my mobo is too hot right now?

Is this what you are looking at? The two arrows point to the chipset heatsink and fan... (click attached image)...

Ah no i was not looking at that.

It is not spinning :-/

Edit: do i need to replace that now?/ how would that be replaced?

Also, is their any way to just live with it? haha, like if my mobo is not overheating without it?

How do i check my Mobo temperature using Everest Home Edition?

Ironically, one of the easiest ways to check chipset temperatures is with your finger. With the computer running and the side panel off, just very gently touch the side of the heatsink. If it is just warm, then you're fine. If it feels like your finger is going to melt away within seconds, then it's too hot!

Everest should show temperatures in the task bar area when you start the program up (next to the clock in the lower right of the screen).
