thanks. I went to 220 fsb doing the test, however i doubt i will need to go further. CPU hits a wall at 267. Can't even run the 2-2-2-5 latency even though the RAM speed is only 200mhz. 3//4 divider. I got it to load and crash windows at 278 fsb though.

life is unfair. LOL sumguy at ocforums got their venice 3000+ to run at 300 x 9 =2700mhz. with only a 166mhz divider. DAMN... I need something like that.

lol yeah, thats beastly.
i got my 3700 sandy up to 3100mhz on a 282 fsb, but booting into windows was so flaky and my temps were way to high (pushing 50c at load) hopefully when i get a watercooling kit i can tinker with it and see if i can get it to 3ghz stable instead of my 2.88ghz

Yeah, it's luck of the draw. Some chips clock great while others are less than average. My Venice clocks like crap, so I feel your pain justin

HEY GUYS!!! i clocked my venice 2.5ghz!! How do dividers work? I had a 3//4 divider and my ram ran at 200 mhz. HOWEVER, it still needed 3.0 volts for it to run at that speed. If my cpu isn't clocked it can run at 2.5vs. IS THIS NORMAL?!?!? I changed my divider one step lower and i clocked my cpu 100mhz more =P. so awesome. I'mma tweak this thing a bit further.
